The new music video, featuring Chet and his music partner Drew Arthur, includes a cameo from Chet's Oscar-winning dad, who helps his son recreate some of the most iconic scenes from the 1994 hit film.

In the video, Chet reenacts several of Forrest's recognizable running scenes, including the memorable "run Forrest, run" scene. He even transforms into the unkempt version of the beloved character, when he runs across the country with a very grown-out beard in the film.

Chet, who stars in the new Netflix series Running Point with Kate Hudson, also sits on a bus stop bench with a box of chocolates, just like his dad did in the original film, which won Best Picture at the 1995 Academy Awards.

Chet also made sure to include his pops in the music video, and Tom, 68, can be seen sitting on the bench with son at one point, while pretending to give Chet disapproving looks.

At the end of the video, though, the father-son duo embrace for a sweet hug—and fans were simply obsessed with the full-circle moment.

"Wow! This is EPIC" one user wrote under Chet's Instagram snippet from the video, while another person said it was "so iconic" to include Tom in the video.

"Seeing you and your dad in this video is EVERYTHING!" another fan gushed.
