Today presenter Scherri-Lee Biggs weds AFL star in stunning wedding

The bride danced the night away in a beautiful minidress.

Wedding season is in full swing and if there’s a luxurious day to set your sights on emulating, look no further than Today weather presenter, Scherri-Lee Biggs’, stunning nuptials.

The Channel Nine star walked down the aisle and said ‘I do’ to ex-West Coast Eagles player, Daniel Venables, at Old Young’s gin distillery in Swan Valley.

Former Miss Universe Australia, Scherri-Lee, uploaded a stream of snaps from the day to her Instagram account, captioning a stunning ceremony shot simply with “The Venables”.

Scherri-Lee looked the epitome of the glowing bride on the day, dressed in an intricate lace gown by Melbourne design house Capellazzo Couture.


She wore her hair in an elegant up-do and accessorised with a billowing tulle veil with a lace trim.

The dancing went into the night at the wedding, with Scherri-Lee kicking up her heels later in the evening and changing into a fun minidress.

Ex-Today newsreader Tracey Vo proudly watched her friend tie the knot, with many AFL stars also in attendance.

The couple are believed to have started dating in 2021, with Daniel dropping to his knee and popping the question to Scherri-Lee over Christmas.

'Forever isn't enough with you,' Scherri-Lee wrote on her engagement post on Instagram, alongside a stunning snap of the pair embracing.
