TikToker shares simple trick to help you fall asleep in two minutes
A man from the US has taken to TikTok to share a simple hack to help you fall asleep in just two minutes.
The TikToker, who goes by @YoungerYouDoc on the app, shared his hack that involves rubbing two fingers on the inside of your wrist to help you nod off.
"All you’ve got to do is rub that spot on your wrist for like two to three minutes," he explains in the video.
YoungerYouDoc added in the comments, "The wrist spot is actually an acupressure spot that has come up in several studies."
According to Healthline, "Stimulating this pressure point is associated with quieting your mind, which can help you fall asleep."

The website also adds other spots that can help treat insomnia include on the inside of your ankle, on the sole of your foot and behind your neck.
TikTok users were surprised by the hack, with one writing, "That spot on my wrist rubs on my desk while typing. Is this why I'm sleepy by 2pm?"
"Ohhhhh wait I thought rubbing my wrist would wake me up 😂 it made me more sleepy!!!" another added.
"I'm gonna rub my kid's wrist!" a third joked.
"My insomnia issues could be cured?!" someone else added.
Elsewhere in the video, YoungerYouDoc also shared a hack for stress where you place an ice pack on your chest, explaining, "It actually stimulates your vagus nerve, it forces your nervous system to relax."
"The ice pack hack definitely worked! Thank you!" one user commented.
"I love the ice pack trick!!! I do that when I have panic attacks," another added.
"I stick my head in the freezer when I’m stressed/panicked 😂 works amazingly well!" a third joked.
