Tia Mowry and Jackée Harry Have a Sweet “Sister, Sister” Reunion 25 Years After the Series Finale
The pair of actresses played mother-daughter duo Tia and Lisa Landry on the hit '90s sitcom
Tia Mowry and Jackée Harry are still two peas in a pod.
The Sister, Sister stars showed that their friendship is still going three decades after the show debuted as they hung out together at the It's A Wonderful Lifetime 2024 Holiday Event at EP & LP in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The pair — who played mother-daughter duo Lisa and Tia Landry on the '90s sitcom — appeared to be in high spirits as they posed side by side for photos on the red carpet with their arms around each other and big smiles.
Mowry, 46, wore a white sweater over a white satin skirt with matching silver strappy heels. She finished the look with a silver sparkly purse, silver layered necklaces and silver drop earrings and styled her hair half-up, half-down. As for Harry, 68, she opted for a more colorful ensemble: a black dress with blue and red flower prints with a matching black boa wrap.

The former costars were captured chatting at the event and even interacting with Vivica A. Fox, 60, who wore a dazzling dark red shimmery gown. The trio was snapped sitting inside at a table later on in the evening, after hanging on the red carpet, too.
Mowry and Harry, who starred in Sister, Sister from 1994 to 1999 alongside Tim Reid and Tia’s twin sister Tamera Mowry, have continued to stay close since filming for the show ended. They have even gone to each other for advice over the years, with one recent conversation about dating and motherhood being recorded for Mowry's show Tia Mowry: My Next Act.

“You had told me that you can't have everything in life,” said Mowry, who divorced from Cory Hardrict in 2023, in one clip. Harry, who was married to hairstylist Elgin Charles from 1996 to 2003, confirmed, “Not all at once.”
Despite what has gone on in their personal lives since the filming of the show wrapped, the two still look fondly upon those years that they worked together. The Family Reunion star celebrated the 30th anniversary of the show on Instagram with a photo from the set in April.
“It was the first time I really believed in myself and my dreams. I remember being on a press tour in New York when the show premiered, feeling like all my hard work and prayers had paid off,” Mowry wrote.
Harry also shared a tribute on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing, “30 years since our little show premiered! 🥰. We didn’t predict this longevity or success, but it should come as no surprise. When you put love, friendship, identity & heritage at the core of your work - it turns into something everyone can relate to.”
Mowry starred as Tia Landry, daughter of adoptive mother Lisa (Harry), who unexpectedly meets her twin sister, Tamera Campbell, daughter of adoptive father Ray (Reid). In the pilot episode, Tia and Lisa move in with Tamera and Ray to keep the twins together.
Sister, Sister is available to stream on Hulu.
