Yahoo Lifestyle There's A New Report On What's Allegedly Happening With Bennifer Amid J.Lo's Canceled Tour
You probably heard Jennifer Lopez canceled her This Is Me... Live Tour.
It was supposed to start this summer and followed a three-part multimedia series that included her album, This Is Me... Now, the follow-up to her Ben Affleck-inspired This Is Me... Then album from 2002, a musical film of the same name, and a documentary titled, The Greatest Love Story Never Told. The singer financed it herself for $20 million.
Live Nation shared the news yesterday, saying "Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.'"
The singer also made a statement, saying she was "completely heartsick and devastated about letting [her fans] down."
"Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," she said. "I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..."
The move followed widespread split rumors after Ben was noticeably absent from several red carpet events with Jennifer, including the 2024 Met Gala, which she co-chaired, and the premiere of her new Netflix film Atlas.
Since then, it's been reported that the couple is allegedly living separately, despite both being in LA. It was also alleged that they spent Mother's Day apart.
According to one source, "one of the issues" in their relationship is that Ben allegedly feels Jen is never "satisfied."
"Ben feels like Jen has a hard time feeling satisfied, and that's one of the issues they're facing," the insider told Entertainment Tonight. "Ben is one of the only people who feels comfortable enough to be honest and real with Jen. It's part of why Jen loves him, but also why she's upset with him."
Another issue is their alleged conflicting attitudes about fame. "They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention. Ben hates all attention and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach," a source told People.
While Jen and Ben haven't directly commented on their reported marital woes, a source tells People it's "been heartbreaking for her."
They said, for now, she and Ben are prioritizing their kids, noting "Jennifer and Ben have always been very family-oriented.”
“The graduation was a big deal,” they continued, referring to Violet Affleck's graduation earlier this week. “Jennifer wanted to celebrate it."
Ben shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, Jennifer has 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Jen and Ben were pictured together at the graduation and, at one point, were seen holding hands.
BuzzFeed reached out to reps for the couple for comment on the latest reports on their marriage but did not hear back by the time of publication.
