He may have won The Voice under the guidance of coach Delta Goodrem back in 2017 but Judah Kelly has another big achievement under his belt after losing a staggering 40kg over the past six months.
The 23-year-old country-soul singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his epic transformation by sharing a side-by-side of himself before and after his fitness journey.
“I've been training consistently since December but sometimes I forget how far I've come,” the Townsville-based artist wrote.
“Since I started this weight loss journey, I've lost 40kg! This is cool, but I've still got a loooong way to go,” he added.
Judah went on to reveal that he’s dropped three pants sizes; “That's a whole lot of jeans I've had to buy since December,” he joked.
Judah’s followers flooded the comments section with praise for his amazing achievement.
“Inspirational, keep going dude!” said one.
“Epic buddy, keep up the great work ..... it’ll be so worth it in the end,” wrote another.
Earlier in June, Judah posted a video of him sweating it up in the ring with his boxing trainer — with a brief singing interval, of course.
In another post, the former ‘Team Delta’ member opened up about feeling ‘weird as hell’ about documenting his weight loss progress on social media, adding that he hopes to inspire others.
“I know its silly but I get really self-conscious about posting this stuff. In my experience, I’ve had people make fun of me for being fat and then make fun of me for trying to work out so it’s just this weird cycle of dread but there are some out there who actually gain inspiration from posts like this sooo here we go I guess,” he wrote.
