The unexpected way a ‘van life’ couple are making $500,000 a year while seeing Australia

One young couple is utilising OnlyFans to fund the trip of a lifetime.

A young Aussie couple are utilising their social media following to fund the trip of a lifetime around Australia, earning an eye-watering amount of money from platforms including OnlyFans.

Aged 25 and 23, Nathan and Bec are, in their words, "living the dream" as they travel across Australia, filming their adventures for TikTok before deciding to start an OnlyFans account.

“Not many people could afford to live on the road, it’s so expensive," Bec said.

“We had a few friends doing OnlyFans, and we already had a following on social media. So we figured, why not?” Nathan added.

The pivot to the adult-only platform saw the couple start to fund their traveller lifestyle with ease, after earning half a million dollars in the last year.

“It feels like we’re living everybody's dream, and we’re still putting money into investments and our future," Nathan said.

“Filming content honestly doesn’t take up that much time. It’s a good way to live when your biggest decision is where to travel next!”

'From high school sweethearts to OnlyFans stars'

Filming content has allowed them to take in the sights and experience the travelling lifestyle without having to work too hard or worry about the state of their finances.

The high school sweethearts have leveraged their good looks, and their knack for social media to build over 600,000 followers, and while before OnlyFans they had only slept with each other, they quickly found a market for content people were interested in.

"We've been in a relationship for five years and have only ever slept with each other... we thought, okay, the best way to promote ourselves and get the most money is obviously to collaborate with other people that have a big following. So we sat down and had a big discussion," Nathan explained.

"We spoke with other creators and couples who have gone through a similar experience to ask them how they navigated it and to work out whether it's something we'd be comfortable doing."

Nathan stipulated that the two still consider themselves to be part of a monogamous relationship, and the OnlyFans content is work only.

"We would never sleep with another girl outside of our work. It's not something we're interested in doing, emotionally, because we're in a monogamous relationship.

"Our first threesome was with a friend of ours, which made it easier, but generally we'd only collaborate with people who are also in the industry to keep our focus on business. We started off with only allowing oral sex between Nathan and the girl we collaborate with, and now we've moved into penetration too. There's no jealousy," Bec added.

"We're a little different to a lot of other OnlyFans creators because we're travelling, we create really authentic travel content but we also have that secret naughty side to us which our subscribers love," Nathan said.
