The three-ingredient Aldi air fryer chicken dinner taking the world by storm

Aldi shoppers have been going wild for the one-dish family chicken dinner that requires only three ingredients and takes just 40 minutes in the air fryer.

"Jumped on the chicken and rice train... came out perfect! 1 cup basmati rice, 2 cups of chicken stock, chicken on top. 40 min in air fryer," one mum shared to an Aldi fans Facebook group.

"Did this with spicy BBQ chicken and it was amazing!!" another commented.

"I had the mango chicken and rice with chicken stock liquid for the rice," a third person wrote.

"Turned [out] amazing, the whole family loved it."

Australia's top food blogger, RecipeTins Eats, aka Nagi Maehashi, also has a version of this one-pot dish, which she's been sharing for over seven years.

Using her recipe, or adding some of the tasty garnishes to the Aldi recipe hack will elevate the dish.
