The Queen set to finally meet Lilibet on her first birthday

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter Lilibet is finally set to meet the Queen, who she's named after, on her first birthday this weekend.

Lilibet will travel with Harry and Meghan and big brother Archie, three, to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The tot's name comes from the Queen's childhood nickname, with her middle name, Diana, being a tribute to Harry's late mother.

It'll be the first time the couple will reunite with the royal family since they stepped down as senior members in March 2020.

The pair had a secret visit with the Queen and Prince Charles last month, the first time Meghan had returned to the UK since 2020, however, they did not see anyone else during that time.

While it's not confirmed what events Harry and Meghan will attend, they will likely attend a few across the four-day Jubilee holiday.

The Queen, herself, will only confirm her attendance at a number of events on the day of, or a few hours before.

Her Majesty is expected to be at the Trooping the Colour at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, however.

Harry, Meghan and Prince Andrew will not stand on the balcony at Buckingham Palace as they are no longer working royals.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reunite with the Queen on Friday at a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.

They will likely take Archie and Lilibet to Windsor Castle on Saturday, Lilibet's first birthday.

The Queen has also not seen Archie since the family moved to the US.

The Sussexes are believed to be staying at Frogmore Cottage during their stay with Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their daughter Sienna are believed to not be living there at the moment.
