The Project host stuns fans with isolation skills

Carrie Bickmore has stunned fans with her incredible skills while at home with her family.

The 39-year-old The Project host took to her Instagram account to upload a short clip of herself sitting down at her piano, with her adorable daughter Adelaide sitting on her lap, as she self-isolates during the coronavirus pandemic.

“ISO GOAL. To learn to play Clocks by Coldplay. I used to play piano as a kid and have been inspired watching Ollie play, so......my challenge is to learn to play piano again by end of ISO. Tricky to learn the second hand when little people want to join in... but we’ll get there (god I love music).” Carrie wrote.

The video then shows her playing the familiar opening sequence of Clocks by Coldplay, with little Adelaide trying to play along.

Carrie, who is also mum to daughter Evie and son Oliver, has been chronicling her isolation diaries over Instagram for her fans to see.

On Monday, she uploaded a video of Oliver sitting on a work chair with Adelaide on his lap, twirling her around much to her glee.

“Well.......parenting through the corona crisis is proving to be a roller coaster ride,” Carrie captioned the video.

“It’s like doing normal life but without all the scaffolding. No routine, no school, no weekly activities, no extended family, no friends, no familiar faces, no distractions and not many breaks to catch our breath.”

Carrie went on to say that there are moments that make her heart sing, “beautiful moments that we wouldn’t normally get, and moments that are incredibly tough”.

“So much uncertainty and stress and sometimes you just wanna cry or hide in a cupboard for 5 mins peace,” she said.

“No two lives are the same, everyone has different challenges at the moment and is being tested in different ways, but there is so much compassion and care going around. We all need to be kind to each other and to ourselves as well. To all our health workers putting their lives and their families lives at risk for all of us. Thank you.”

Carrie also uploaded a video showing her cutting her partner Chris Walker’s hair after she stressed about her own roots in another snap and a photo of “iso life” with her floor covered in kids toys and food.
