The most shocking celebrity Photoshop fails of 2023

These stars tweaked their pictures to look their best - but they didn't fool anyone!

When celebrities are called out for their bad use of Photoshop, they often respond by deleting the offending picture and pretending it was never posted in the first place. The Kardashians, Madonna and a lot of the reality TV stars are frequent repeat offenders - though often quick to remove the picture when called out.

Here are our top five Photoshop fails of the year that have remained online.

Kim Kardashian

When Kim Kardashian posed for jewellery designer Chrome Hearts, her followers were quick to point out that her main shot appeared to make her look like she was floating.

"Whoever is on her editing team needs to get fired," one Insta user wrote.

"What do you mean - you didn’t know she could levitate?" another jokingly added.

"Seriously, at least add a shadow or something," a third pointed out.

In this instance, Kim doesn't seem bothered by the bad cutout though.

Khloe Kardashian

Kim's younger sister Khloe seems to get called out a lot online for appearing to alter her pictures and the most recent of these is one she posted to celebrate momager Kris's birthday.

Her fans were quick to call out her forehead and arm as evidence that she had altered the image.

"Ummmmmm there is something wrong with your arm..." one asked.

"Anyone else gonna say something about the arm? YOUR ARM BRO!!" another commented, while another pointed out: "Who cares about the arm?? Why are we not talking about her forehead in the 1st 2 pics??"

Sofia Vergara

There is little debate that Sofia Vergara is a beautiful woman so some were surprised that she appeared to tweak her photos.

"Why that fireplace is bending 😂😂😂," one person pointed out on Instagram while others were surprised she felt the need to tune her images at all.

"But why the photoshop? You always say 'love yourself', one wrote while another added: "why you gotta photoshop tho. I believed in you."

Others didn't care that she tweaked her shots.

"I don’t give a s**t if the picture is photoshopped or not. 1. She’s still one of the most beautiful women in the world, and 2. Her jeans are comfortable as hell! I have several pairs and I love them."

It goes to show that the pressure is on celebrities to create a perfect image.

Chrissy Teigen

Many fans of model Chrissy Teigen were surprised to see she had appeared to photoshop her head onto another model's body when promoting a pistachio-coloured dressing gown for her label Cravings by Chrissy Teigen.

"I cannot unsee photo 2 …. The photoshop is so bad wtf lol," one commented.

"Chrissy. i love you. And I mean this with all do respect… but wtf is the 2nd slide," another wrote.

"Why is your head photoshopped in slide 2 onto the curly haired model in slide 8? 🫢 I can’t unsee it now 😂," a third said.

Given Chrissy is a model herself, we'll put this down to a lack of time...

Prince Harry

It's not always obvious photo fails that catch celebs out. Sometimes they post a paparazzi pic on their own socials and it doesn't quite match the one the pap agency put up.

Prince Harry fell into that trap when he released his publicity headshot for his role as chief impact officer at mental health charity BetterUp. It appeared that he had considerably more hair in the publicity shot from August this year than he had when captured in paparazzi shots.

Royal commentator Angela Levin called follicly sensitive Harry "pathetic" when she appeared on GBNews to discuss the photo.

"He’s darkened his hair and painted a bit on top. It’s pathetic."
