Jason Sudeikis as Ted LassoTed Lasso is returning, but the cast might not be entirely the same.
Days after news broke that the hit series was renewed for a fourth season, one character is being recast, according to Deadline.
Henry, the son of Jason Sudeikis’ titular character, was previously played by Gus Turner, but the outlet reported on Wednesday, March 19, that the show is searching for a new actor to fill the role.
PEOPLE has reached out to reps at Apple TV+ for comment.
Turner appeared in all three previous seasons of the beloved comedy, although he was mostly seen on FaceTime calls with Sudeikis, who left his family in Kansas while he coached a soccer team in London.
Still, Turner had more prominent scenes when he visited his father — once with his mother Michelle (Andrea Anders) and once alone after Ted and Michelle split. He also returned for the season 3 finale, welcoming Ted back home to Kansas.

"Ted Lasso has been nothing short of a juggernaut, inspiring a passionate fanbase all over the world, and delivering endless joy and laughter, all while spreading kindness, compassion and unwavering belief,” Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, said in the press release. "Everyone at Apple is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with Jason and the brilliant creative minds behind this show."
"As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap," Sudeikis added. "In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to 'leap before they look,' discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be."

Not many details about the plot are known, and so far, Sudeikis — who is both the star and the creator of the Emmy-winning series — is the only cast member confirmed to be returning.
He did, however, teased on the March 14 episode of the New Heights podcast that fans are going to see a new side of Ted, who will be "coaching a women's team.”
In 2023, the show’s writer and executive producer Brett Goldstein (who plays player-turned-assistant coach Roy Kent) jokingly put forth a season 4 plot suggestion when speaking to the Sunday Times.
"Five of the lead characters die in the end,” he hypothetically stated, joking: “I think one of the reasons it's like, 'Is this the final season?' is because it depends on whether Jason is open to doing ghost Ted."
"I have pitched him this and he said he'd think about it but I'm not sure how Apple will feel about the idea," he continued. "I think what we've done as a creative team is constantly surprising people and I don't think anyone thinks season 4 will have a ghost Ted haunting the lockers."
