Taylor Swift's Favorite New Accessory Is 'Cursed' After 2 Consecutive Losses, According to Fans

Swifties believe Taylor Swift's new go-to accessory is "cursed" after she repurposed a piece of jewelry from the Grammys for Super Bowl 2025—both of which culminated in a loss for the singer.

Fans were quick to note that the necklace she wore to Super Bowl LIX—which was made up of a delicate gold chain with red, teardrop-shaped gemstones and a red gem-encrusted T—was the same chain that decorated her thigh on the red carpet of the Grammys exactly one week prior.

While Swift, 35, was nominated for six awards at this year's ceremony, she went home empty-handed, while the Kansas City Chiefs failed to cinch their "3-peat" at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 9.

"all i know is that the T is cursed and as much as I love it, I never wanna see it again," one fan wrote on X after the Philadelphia Eagles took home the Vince Lombardi trophy, sharing side-by-side snapshots of tonight's look versus when the singer wore the charm on her thigh at the illustrious music awards.

"its so beautiful i need it dropped into the deepest part of the ocean," one fan wrote dramatically, while another compared it to the Heart of the Ocean necklace from the film Titanic: "the heart of the sea from the taytanic," they joked.

"it will never see the light of the again," someone else predicted.

"taylor’s T necklace is a curse like first no grammys and now this game," a separate poster declared, while someone else wrote before the game was over that if Swift knew "what’s good for you, you’ll take it off NOW."
