- It's just days until Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicks off in Australia. Here's everything you need to know before attending. What time should you arrive? Gates will open at 4:30 PM. And as all seating is allocated, you don't need to arrive any earlier. The show will begin at 6:20 PM.
Where can you access your ticket? The most important thing you need to bring with you is your ticket. For security reasons, tickets are only accessible via the Ticketek app. And the ticket barcodes will be unlocked in the week leading up to the event date. Make sure you've downloaded the Ticketek app and you're signed into your account.
Do you need to bring a clear bag? Both concert venues request if you're bringing a bag, that you only have one bag per person. The bag must be smaller than A4 size, with a maximum of two compartments. But the bag does not need to be clear.
Can you film or take photos during the show? You're able to take photos and videos on your smartphone, but no professional video or still photography cameras are allowed. Devices like iPads, GoPros, tripods, selfie sticks, and drones are also not allowed.
Where can you buy merchandise? At both the Melbourne and Sydney concert venues, external merchandise stands will be open from midday until after the show. Additional merch stands will also be available for ticket holders inside the venues during the show times. Frontier Touring claims supplies are limited and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Can you bring friendship bracelets? Friendship bracelets can be brought in as long as they're worn on your arms or are in your single allowed bag. The bracelets cannot be in their own separate bag, and for safety reasons are not allowed to be brought on things like carabiners, D rings, or shower curtain rings.
Can you bring food or drinks into the venue? Frontier Touring states food, beverages, and free water will be available at the venue. So attendees are told not to bring their own. A sealed, clear, soft plastic water bottle no larger than 600 mils is allowed for most ticket holders. However, floor ticket holders will not be allowed drink containers, instead cups will be provided with ample water and refill stations available.
What else should you bring? A portable phone charger will definitely come in handy, but make sure it's smaller than the size of your phone. Sunscreen is also encouraged, however, aerosol forms are prohibited.
What can't you bring? Frontier Touring states large signs bigger than 28 centimeters by 45 centimeters are not allowed, as well as promotional, commercial, or giveaway materials.
Other prohibited items include large electronic devices, including laptops, tablets, and readers, audio recording devices, confetti or torn paper, umbrellas, tents, camping chairs, flashlights, lasers, or battery packs, prams or strollers, aerosols, clothing costumes, or personal effects that may impede the view of those around you, air horns, instruments, speakers or audio disturbances, and outside food or beverages.
However, medical exemptions apply for things like dietary requirements or medical bags. Frontier Touring encourages the relevant ticket holders to see stadium staff and bring doctor letters to ease entry.
