Watch How Taylor Swift Expertly Handled A Distressed Fan Mid-Concert Without Missing A Beat
Taylor Swift paused her show on Friday to aid a fan who appeared to be in distress.
The singer was performing in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Friday as part of her Eras tour when she stopped to check on someone in the audience.
In footage that's since gone viral on TikTok, Taylor can be seen requesting assistance in the middle of her Midnights song "Would've Could've Should've" without missing a beat.
"We need help right in front of me, please, right in front of me," she said while strumming her guitar. "Just gonna keep playing until we notice where it is."
Taylor continued strumming, using her guitar to motion to the person in need of help. "I'm just gonna keep playing 'til somebody helps them, then I'm gonna keep singing the song," she continued. "I don't think anybody's gotten to them yet, and they're gonna. Because we're not gonna keep singing, we're just gonna keep talking about the people that need help in front of me. Just let me know when. I can do this all night."
After Taylor got the sign that they were okay, she replied, "You're good? Awesome!" Then, she immediately and effortlessly launched back into the song.
People online were very impressed.
"I love this cause it really means she is looking at the fans during her shows," one person wrote on TikTok.
"The way she kept the flow going too is PURE TALENT," another noted.
"That was another level of professionalism," a third agreed.
One user said it was just one more reason they "absolutely" love Taylor.
This other person became an even bigger fan than they were already.
