Taylor Swift Bared Her Abs in a Crop Top and Plaid Skirt for GNO with Gigi Hadid

So many potential 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' Easter eggs.

Taylor Swift looked ready for fall as she kicked off the weekend with OG squad member Gigi Hadid. On Saturday, September 21, the best friends wore coordinating outfits as they headed out on the town for dinner at The Corner Store restaurant in New York City. Swift showed more skin than usual for her girls’ night out outing, pairing one of her signature mini plaid skirts with a tiny ab-baring crop top.

Both Swift and Hadid leaned into the changing seasons with hues of rust, brown, and mauve, per photos shared by Page Six. The “August” singer showed off her toned midriff in a black long-sleeved shirt that hit several inches above her skirt’s waistband. The short skirt–a plaid-printed Ramy Brook piece featuring interwoven orange, brown, and green hues–was a nod to Swift’s go-to school girl-inspired style, and she accessorized the thigh-skimming look with a brown leather belt accentuated with a chunky buckle.

A pair of lace-up brown Victorian-inspired leather ankle boots featured a subtle snake print design–a seeming Reputation (Taylor’s Version) Easter egg. The “Cruel Summer” also added to the speculation that a re-release of her sixth studio album is in the works by wearing a gold necklace inscribed with the number “12,” which is believed to be in reference to her upcoming twelfth album. Swift accessorized with several other layered necklaces, a brown leather Stella McCartney handbag that matched the hues of her belt and boots, and a few rings on her fingers. Loose, natural blonde curls with a full bang and a classic red lip rounded out her Saturday night beauty look. Later as Swift exited the restaurant, she added a long gray trench coat, per a video shared by People.

Hadid appeared to have also gotten the fall dressing memo, and she paired her white t-shirt, brown boots, and beige trousers with a midi-length satin chocolate brown trench coat that was cinched at the waist. The model–who wore her blonde chin-length bob in a retro flipped-out style–added a pop of color and shine with stacks of gold necklaces, statement earrings, and a butter yellow handbag. A swipe of matte mauve lipstick finished her early fall ensemble.
