'Talk About A Self-Own!': MSNBC Host Taunts JD Vance Over Clueless Trump Claim
MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin mocked Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) for an awkward attack on pop star Taylor Swift that sounded more like criticism of running mate Donald Trump.
Swift last week endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, triggering a meltdown in MAGA world ― including an all-caps message from Trump himself declaring, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Vance dismissed Swift as a “billionaire celebrity” who is “fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans.”
Mohyeldin laughed at the clip.
“I mean talk about a self-own! A billionaire celebrity who is disconnected from the interests and problems of most Americans?” he said. “Does he know who his running mate is?”
It wasn’t just Vance.
Mohyeldin looked at other right-wingers who went into meltdown mode over Swift, the debate and more over the past week.
