Is Taco Bell Bringing Back Its Fan-Favorite Crispy Chicken Nuggets?
It’s only been a few months since Taco Bell rolled out crispy chicken nuggets for a limited time, but the fast food rumor mill is buzzing with excitement that the McDonald’s McNugget rival may be coming back in full force in 2025.
Popular food blogger markie_devo reports that “Taco Bell is bringing back the Crispy Chicken Nuggets, this time with a new sauce,” with a speculated release date of April 24.
Per the influencer, who cites a Taco Bell employee as a source, the nuggets would be available in either five or ten-piece options. Customers will have the option to pair their chicken with either fire ranch sauce, bell sauce, or jalapeño honey mustard.
Additionally, the foodstagrammer reports that a continuation of the crispy chicken nuggets promotion, this time with a new Mike’s Hot Honey diablo sauce, is potentially slated to come out on May 22.
When Taco Bell first announced the crispy chicken nuggets in 2024, the brand described them as fried all-white meat chicken “marinated in spiced jalapeño buttermilk” and “breaded in a tortilla coating.”
Fans were delighted by the news of the potential return, taking to the Instagram comments to say that they “hope they stick around longer than 2 weeks this time.”
Others agreed, writing that they were excited to try them as they missed them the first time around. “These were really good,” said a fan who managed to try the initial rollout.
Parade reached out to Taco Bell for comment but did not immediately hear back.
