Susie raises eyebrows with lingerie top on MAFS

There were some pretty shocking moments at last night’s Married at First Sight commitment ceremony, but one of the things that stuck with viewers was Susie Bradley’s choice to rock lilac lingerie.

The mother-of-one raised eyebrows with the underwear as outerwear trend, when she wore a bra-style lace corset to the ceremony where she decided to stay with TV husband Billy Vincent despite their problematic last week.

Unsurprisingly, her outfit choice was quick to inspire commentary online, with a stream of viewers taking to Twitter in confusion.

“Is Susie wearing lingerie as a top?” asked one perplexed viewer.

“Are bras as tops a thing now?” wrote another.

Others jokingly jabbed as to whether the 25-year-old simply ‘forget’ to match the lilac corset with an outer garment, with one writing: “I think Susie has so much on her mind she forgot her top!”

But wearing lingerie in public is something celebs have been doing for a many years.

Bella Hadid, Rita Ora and Khloe Kardashian have all worn lacy bodysuits similar to Susie’s, and Kim Kardashian famously rebooted the bra-and-blazer trend.

Meanwhile just last week, a ‘topless jacket’ that leaves the wearer’s bra exposed left the Internet divided with one customer asking: “What’s the point of the top if you aren’t covering anything?”
