There's a surprising family guest at Karl Stefanovic's wedding

The star-studded guest list from Karl Stefanovic’s wedding to Jasmine Yarbrough was leaked weeks ago.

But as the wedding party begin to touch down in the US en-route to Mexico, there was a surprising family member among them.

The Today Show’s oldest son Jackson was spotted strolling through LA’s airport with his dad and his soon-to-be stepmum yesterday.

His shock appearance comes after multiple reports the 19-year-old would be missing the wedding over claims of growing tension surrounding Karl’s divorce from mum Cassandra Thorburn after 21 years of marriage.

However the sighting of the teen heading to the luxury resort where they’re set to tie the knot on December 8 appears to put those rumours to bed for good.

Jackson joined his younger siblings, Ava and River, along with other members of the family as they begun the 13,000km journey to the exotic destination.

As the party strolled through the airport they were all smiles, dispelling additional claims he was skipping the wedding in favour of continuing a backpacking adventure through Europe.

Karl split from his wife-of-21-years, Cassandra Thorburn, in late 2016 and it was claimed he was unhappy about his dad moving on so quickly.

The rumours went up a notch when Jackson reportedly missed Karl’s ‘commitment ceremony’ to Jasmine in March — then later changed his Instagram name from ‘Jackson Stefanovic’ to ‘Jackson Thorburn’.

However the family looked unified as they collected luggage in LA, presumably to enjoy a stopover before heading onto Mexico.

Karl and his shoe designer fiancée are marrying this Saturday at the glamorous One&Only Palmilla Resort, a spot loved by many A-listers.

The pair have invited just 60 guests to the lavish nuptials, including billionaire James Packer and PR maven Roxy Jacenko.
