Sunrise's Shirvo shocks fans after undergoing transformation: 'Don't do it!'

"No. No. No. And no."

Sunrise host Matt 'Shirvo' Shirvington underwent a hilarious transformation on Friday, with the presenter rocking a mullet on the show during a segment about Mulletfest, which is taking place in the Hunter Valley this weekend.

Shirvo surprised viewers when he appeared in the segment with a mullet wig, as he and co-host Nat Barr interviewed people taking part in the festival, which crowns the best mullet every year.

While Nat asked what the group of Mulletfest organisers thought of Shirvo's new look, Laura Johnson responded, "I like it," before adding that "curls get the girls" and he should add in a few more curls to the wig.

"Do you think it would have been good when he was running?" Nat asked the group, with Laura saying it would have been, but only as long as the wig didn't blow off his head.

"He looks great with or without long hair," one user responded.

"No, I think Shirvo looks better with short hair. It was funny, though," another added.

"Don’t do it Shirvo!" a third begged, while someone else agreed, writing, "No way Shirvo."

"No. No. No. And no," another added bluntly.
