Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington were left 'shocked' over Ash Barty's baby name.
Sunrise host Natalie Barr has been left shocked over a detail in Ash Barty’s baby announcement.
Retired Aussie tennis player Ash Barty and her husband, Garry Kissick, took to Instagram yesterday to announce the arrival of their adorable baby boy.
“Our beautiful boy. Welcome to the world, Hayden,” the caption read, showing the cute bub wrapped in a blanket adorned with puppies.
While the Sunrise hosts were delighted for the three-time grand slam champion, Natalie Barr was left stunned by one detail.

“There’s something wrong there. It’s a normal name,” Nat said laughing.
“Like, what on earth?”
“We’re shocked.”
“Ash is a normal person. Down to earth couple, makes perfect sense,” Matt Shirvington added.
Ash Barty’s fans went wild back in January when she announced she was pregnant with her first child with an adorable photo of her dog, Origi, laying beside a pair of white baby shoes.
“2023 set to be the best year yet. We are so excited for our new adventure. Origi already the protective big sister,” Ash wrote in the caption.
The former tennis star married Garry Kissick in July 2022, six years after crossing paths at Brookwater Golf and Country Club in Queensland.
The intimate ceremony was attended by family and friends of the couple, with Ash sharing a stunning photo from the day on the social media accounts.
