"In my head, I was like, 'Is this why we're breaking up? Because I don't know if you're lying right now,'" Paige says of what led to her breakup with Craig in the "Summer House" trailer.

The gripping Summer House midseason trailer teases a tipping point for several season 9 storylines: Did Carl Radke hook up with another woman while still planning to marry Lindsay Hubbard? What was the real reason behind Paige DeSorbo's breakup with Craig Conover? And who's toe was Jesse Solomon sucking? Because it certainly wasn't Lexi Wood's.
Months after news broke that Craig and Paige had split, Summer House explored what led to the demise of the couple who coined the dreaded pet name "chicken."
While the Southern Charm finale added a small segment from Craig's perspective about the breakup, Summer House will dive deeper, showing how cracks formed in the relationship months before the split.
When Paige is concerned about how the breakup might be perceived, Ciara Miller tells her, "No one's gonna hate you if you do what's best for you."
"I'm just afraid Craig's gonna be like, 'You're such a f---ing bitch,'" Paige replies with her hands covering her face.
And while the demise of Craig and Paige's relationship will likely continue to play out during the summer, Summer House producers picked up cameras in the winter to find the Giggly Squad host opening up to Lindsay and Amanda Batula about the breakup. "He says to me, 'I really wish you didn't do this before you saw the ring,'" Paige shares. "In my head, I was like, 'Is this why we're breaking up? Because I don't know if you're lying right now.'"
Meanwhile, despite trading niceties in the house, the timing surrounding when Carl connected with a new romantic interest remains unclear — and Lindsay gets activated. Lindsay accuses Carl of messaging another woman last summer while they were still engaged, along with being a "terrible judge of f---ing character." Maybe Carl started something with another woman, but the romance doesn't seem to last, as Carl confesses to Ciara that he has a crush on her. Her reaction is shock.

In the new romance category, Lexi's admission to Jesse that she tends to be a jealous girlfriend may become her self-fulfilling prophecy when she suspects that Jesse has a wandering eye. "You're making it seem like I'm some crazy, jealous girl when you let a random girl suck your toe," Lexi blasts Jesse, who looks nervous.
As Lindsay prepares for the birth of her first baby, Amanda and her husband, Kyle Cooke, ponder whether they're ready to become parents. Amanda admits, "There's some days I'm like, 'Should I even have kids?' I'm not suited to take care of something else."
Watch the Summer House tease above and tune in Wednesday, March 26, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
