'Suits' Star Gabriel Macht Reveals Major Family Life Update
Suits actor Gabriel Macht, who played lawyer Harvey Specter throughout the show's long run, revealed in a new interview that he and his family moved out of the United States recently.
Macht shares two kids with his wife, Jacinda Barrett, and he recently spoke with People about the big life change, saying, "I got out of town and we're exploring the world.”
While Macht confirmed that his family doesn't live in the U.S. anymore, he didn't reveal the new location of his home, telling the publication, “I don't tell anybody where I live because I like to keep that under wraps.”
As for what led to this decision, he recalled wanting a change before the pandemic, saying, “Right before COVID, we wanted to take the kids out of school and homeschool them. But then we got stuck and so we were in Manhattan. That just wasn’t doing it for us.”
“We decided to explore the world, so we left," he declared.
Along with a change of scenery, Macht also decided to change his career path, taking a break from acting and exploring new ventures.
This led Macht to become an executive shareholder and creative partner for the company Bear Fight Whiskey, explaining, "I've done some commercial work as a brand ambassador, but I wanted to be a partner in a company that made sense."
He noted that Bear Fight Whiskey is "an everyman drink," something that fits his own identity more than that of his Suits character Specter: "Harvey—he's really a Macallan guy, but I'm not a Macallan guy. I'm a Bear Fight guy."
Macht and his wife have a son, Luca, and a daughter, Satine, and they've been married since 2004.
