Sugar23 Signs ‘Bridgerton’s Hannah Dodd

EXCLUSIVE: In a competitive situation, Sugar23 has signed rising British actress Hannah Dodd.

Best known for her roles as Francesca Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series Bridgerton and as Sarah Chapman in Enola Holmes 2 alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Dodd has recently established herself as one of Britain’s top young actresses to watch. Straight out of school, she landed a leading role in the Hulu series Find Me in Paris. Most recently, she starred in Paramount+’s The Road Trip and Season 3 of Bridgerton, which earned her and the cast a 2025 SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Additional television credits include Harlots, Flowers in the Attic: The Origin, and Netflix’s Anatomy of a Scandal. On the big screen, Dodd’s credits also include Marvel’s Eternals and Fighting with My Family.

Founded by Michael Sugar in 2017, Sugar23 has produced titles like Spotlight, The Knick, The OA, Maniac, 13 Reasons Why, and I Am the Night, to name just a few. Recently signing the likes of Rosa Salazar and Iris Apatow, the company has also brought in Antoni Kaczmarek and Sydney Blanke as lit managers, promoting Jacob Snyder to the same post, and hiring Alec Stern as Vice President of Production for Film & TV. Additionally, they’ve partnered with Fifth Season to launch a brand-focused film and TV studio that will co-finance over $100 million in production over the next three years.

Dodd continues to be represented in the UK by Olivia Bell Management, Select Model Management, Track Publicity, and Daniel Passman at Gang, Tyre, Ramer.
