Studio 10's Sarah Harris shares emotional reality of husband split
Studio 10 host Sarah Harris has opened up about the emotional side following her split from her husband of seven years, Tom Ward, earlier this year.
In a candid and sometimes heartbreaking chat with The Daily Telegraph on Thursday, the 39-year-old TV star gave an inside look at her life since separating from IT specialist Tom in March.
'Not the first woman to do this'
Mum-of-two Sarah said that both she and her ex 'adore' their two boys, Paul, five, and Harry, three, who will always 'come first'.
She reflected on the fact that marriage breakups are not uncommon by any means, nor is co-parenting with a former partner.
"I am not the first woman to do this and I certainly won't be the last. You just have to be organised and everything has to run with military-like precision," she explained.
Sarah went on to reveal the difficult emotional moments she's faced in the previous few months since parting ways with Tom.
"It is not to say that there aren't days where I get in the car and cry the whole way home and think, 'That was a waste of makeup,'" she said.

Sarah splits from husband Tom
Sarah Harris announced that she and her husband, Tom Ward, were 'taking time apart' in March 2021 in a statement to The Sydney Morning Herald.
"Tom and I are taking time apart, however we remain good friends and deeply committed to co-parenting our two beautiful boys."
The former couple first met on a night out in Sydney's Paddington. Five years later, Tom proposed to Sarah at Balmoral Beach and they married in 2014 at the elite private boys’ high school Riverview.
Sarah and Tom went on to welcome two children together, Paul and Harry, with the presenter saying in 2020 that they were thinking of adding to their family.
"Having a third child is something we're currently contemplating … I'm getting on!" she told Woman’s Day at the time.
