Yahoo Lifestyle Stranger Things Creators’ New Horror Series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen Adds The White Lotus, Daisy Jones Actors
Something Very Bad just cast two someones who are very good.
Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six, The Night Manager) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus, The Magicians) will star in the upcoming horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, Netflix announced Tuesday.

Morrone will play “the bride” opposite DiMarco as “the groom” in the drama, which hails from Stranger Things executive producers the Duffer Brothers and Haley Z. Boston (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities). Boston will serve as showrunner. Andrea Sperling (Transparent) will executive-produce, as will the Duffer Brothers and Weronika Tofilska (Baby Reindeer, Hanna), who also will direct four episodes.
Per the official logline, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen “is an atmospheric horror series set at a wedding, following a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. That’s not a spoiler — just read the title…”
The cast also includes Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fargo, Atypical), Ted Levine (Monk), Gus Birney (Shining Vale, Dickinson), Karla Crome (Under the Dome, Carnival Row), Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox) and Zlatko Burić (Strike Back).
The Duffer Brothers also have another series in the works at the streamer, which has an overall deal with their Upside Down Pictures: The Borough, an eight-episode drama about retirees in the New Mexico desert who have to work together to fight an “otherworldly threat.”
Netflix has not yet put out Something Very Bad‘s release date or trailer. As soon as it does, you’ll find them here!
