If you've been seated (and on the edge of said seat) waiting for Doechii to show up at the 2025 Grammys, the moment has arrived! Doechii hit the Grammys red carpet wearing a beautiful tie and dress combo.
Truly the best!! Doechii is up for Best New Artist this year (alongside Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Khruangbin, RAYE, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, and Teddy Swims), as well as Best Remixed Recording, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album. She's also performing during the ceremony tonight, so stay tuned!
FYI: Doechii had a must-watch reaction to making history as the first time female artist nominated in the best rap album category with a mixtape.
“It just shows how conceptual the music really was,” she told Variety. “And for such a conceptual project to be a mixtape makes me very affirmed—that my ideas are great, and that people resonate with the music.”
"I woke up one day and told my label, ‘I’m just going to make a mixtape,’” she added. “I was able to birth this out of pure presence and creativity, and I think I want to carry that with all of my projects and have that mentality moving forward.”
