Author Stephen King, who has written a number of bestselling novels like The Shining, Pet Sematary, Carrie and more, directly addressed a rumor going around that he called Elon Musk president-elect Donald Trump's "new first lady."

King is well-known for being outspoken about his political beliefs and earlier this year, after Trump called out Taylor Swift on his Truth Social platform and said, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!", King subtly addressed the situation with his own message.
Fans of Swift on X started sharing their support for the singer and King joined in, writing, "I love Taylor Swift. Her music makes me happy. End of story." Fans appreciated his show of support, praising King and sharing own reasons for loving Swift.
