Stephen Colbert Taunts 'Demented' Trump With Scathing Definition For His Made-Up Word
Stephen Colbert on Tuesday cooked up a definition for a new non-word Donald Trump used as the former president attacked immigrants at a rally over the weekend.
“They’re just getting acclamented,” Trump said. “You know what that means.”
“No,” Colbert fired back. “No, I don’t know what that means ― ’cause that’s not a word!”
Colbert went back to the video to hear Trump’s attempt to define it.
“Acclamented. They’re getting used to a society that really goes too far,” Trump explained.
“Oh, acclamented. I understand,” Colbert said. “I think that’s when you get acclimated to Trump being demented. It’s acclamented.”
