Starbucks Fans Get Ready to Fall in Love With Its Newest Drinkware Collection

Starbucks has a whole new line of seasonal cups, travel mugs and tumblers headed to stores, and we have a feeling it's going to be just as big of a hit as its recent holiday collection and collaboration with Wicked (not to mention the Halloween drinkware it released before that).

On Wednesday, the fan-favorite coffee chain revealed that, in keeping with the spirit of the season, it would be launching two all-new drinkware collections designed with nods to the upcoming Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day.

This Lunar New Year officially starts on Jan. 29 and ends on Feb. 8. It brings with it the Year of the Snake, said to traditionally be "associated with wisdom, intuition and transformation," as the company explained in its Jan. 8 press release. To celebrate, Starbucks worked with artists to design a 24-ounce Year of the Snake Cold Cup ($24.95), a 12-ounce Year of the Snake stainless steel tumbler ($22.95), and a 14-ounce Year of the Snake ceramic mug ($16.95) shaped to look like the curled-up reptile.

And for the lovey-dovey holiday that follows in the weeks after, the company crafted an "enchanting" assortment of drinkware for fans to choose from, including a 24-ounce pixelated heart Valentine's Day Cold Cup (22.95), a 24-ounce Pink Floral Cold Cup with a matching flower straw topper ($24.95), a 12-ounce Hot Pink Heart Tumbler with a heart-shaped charm and a 16-ounce Valentine's Day Tumbler with a bursting heart motif.

Both collections appear to have already made their way to the floor of retailers as fans have already spotted the products on shelves, suggesting that the designs are even cuter in person, with one fan admitting they were "thrilled to have snagged one!"

"Spotted this beauty at my local Starbucks," another said of the Year of the Snake Cold Cup in a video uploaded to TikTok earlier this week. "HAD to share."

As always, customers who bring a clean reusable cup to participating stores in the U.S. will receive a $0.10 discount on their beverage. Starbucks Rewards members will also receive 25 Bonus Stars for bringing their own cup, regardless of whether they order in a café, on the Starbucks app, or in the drive-thru.

In addition to the two new festive collections, Starbucks previously announced that it would offer several other vibrant and eye-catching designs for a limited time as part of its second winter drop.

Not only that, but the coffee giant recently revamped its entire menu with several new permanent and seasonal offers, including the limited return of the fan-favorite Vanilla Bean Custard Danish, an all-new coffee blend and a highly-awaited update to its popular matcha.
