Yahoo Lifestyle ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ Gets Earlier Disney+ Release Date
“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” the latest series from a galaxy far, far away, is releasing on Disney+ a day earlier than originally planned.
The eight-part show, led by Jude Law, is now premiering its first two episodes on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. PT. Subsequent episodes will then release on Tuesdays at the same time for the rest of the season. The announcement was also accompanied by new key art for the series.

According to its official synopsis, “Skeleton Crew” follows “the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home — and meeting unlikely allies and enemies — will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.”
Beyond Law, the series stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon and Nick Frost. Episodes directors include Jon Watts, David Lowery, the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung.
Watts and Christopher Ford are head writers and also serve as executive producers alongside Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. Co-executive producers include Chris Buongiorno, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck, and Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki also produce.
