Model Brooks Nadar goes almost nude in sheer red carpet look
Model Brooks Nader left very little to the imagination rocking a completely sheer dress on the red carpet of the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Awards on Monday.
The 23-year-old Sports Illustrated ‘rookie’ showed off her incredible figure in a naked dress wearing nothing but a pair of skin-coloured briefs and pasties to cover her nipples.
The dress, which featured some sparkle and a built-in corset, was designed by Bronx and Banco.
“Had so much fun celebrating the bad ass @mrapinoe at @sportsillustrated SportsPerson of the Year awards!,” Brooks said, posting photos the daring look on her Instagram.
Her fans clearly loved the outfit with plenty of people commenting on the post and sharing their approval of the look.
“Stunner”, one person said. “I’m shook”, wrote another, while a third added, “killed it!”
Of course there were a few downers that questioned the near see-through outfit.
“Beautiful woman, what was the point of the dress?” one person asked.
“Why do women like you wear see through clothes?” another commented.
But Brooks hit back at some of the negative comments with a post to her stories saying, “Don’t be hatin’”.
“I wore this dress because I wanted to and it made me feel sexy, maybe that’s not empowering to you but it is to me,” she also responded to one comment.
Originally from Louisiana, US, Brooks’ career kicked off earlier this year when she won the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2019 Model Search, beating out more than 10,000 fellow models.
You’ll see her feature in the 2020 issue as a ‘rookie’. She shared a few photos from the shoot in Bali last month online.
Naked dresses dominating red carpets
The trend of sheer and see-through gowns has been ever present on red carpets over the past year.
Naked dresses reigned on the Venice Film Festival back in September with an array of stars stepping out in Italy with the mentality that less is more.
There were sheer panels, sultry slits and underwear on show.
The same could be said at the GQ awards in London earlier the same month.
Rita Ora and Abbey Clancy both went with semi-sheer outfits while Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocked a bondage style number.
