Naked dresses reign on Venice Film Festival red carpet
Farrah Abraham’s wardrobe malfunction at the Venice Film Festival hasn’t stopped other big names in entertainment from daring to bare at the prestigious multi-day event.
It seems an array of stars have stepped out in Italy with the mentality that less is more in terms of nailing the style stakes, with the ‘naked dress’ trend undeniably sweeping the red carpet at most premieres and parties.
We’re talking sheer panels, sultry slits and underwear on show.
Taylor Mega’s dress was one example, with the model arriving at the Martin Eden screening at Sala Grande in a fitted laced gown that left little to the imagination.
Its sheer fabric wrapped across her bust but still revealed a glimpse of underboob, while a peek-a-boo cutout in the centre exposed her torso.
Meanwhile Italian actress Giulia Elettra Gorietti stepped out at the same film screening in a pale pink gown – again this dress was also made of see-through fabric with a laced texture.
Italian singer and Lamborghini heiress, Elettra Lamborghini, got engines running as far as sheer panels were concerned.
Her scarlet dress at The Laundromat premiere was see-through across the chest in a diagonal fashion, before extending down her left arm sleeve.
And the whole flash your bra and underwear combo was popular amongst other festival-goers, who wore white, black and flesh-coloured gowns that exposed their undergarments with or without the flash of a camera.
The Venice Film Festival kicked off on August 28 and will continue till September 7.
