South Park Wants to Put Cartman on Ozempic in The End of Obesity Paramount+ Special — Watch Trailer
Like many a TV personality before him, South Park‘s Cartman is making the choice to take weight-loss drugs.
The animated character’s latest exploits will unfold in South Park: The End of Obesity, a Paramount+ special that will begin streaming on Friday, May 24, in the United States and Canada. (Other areas of the world will be able to see it starting on May 25.)

The End of Obesity, Paramount+’s seventh South Park event, will follow how the Colorado town is affected by the rising popularity of semaglutide-based weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, Mounjaro and Wegovy. “When Cartman is denied access to the life-changing medicine,” the official logline reads, “the kids jump into action.”
In the teaser trailer at the top of this post, a doctor tells Cartman and his mother, “It’s time for some drastic measures to bring down his weight.” Though his friends warn that the choice could be a dangerous one, Cartman is resolute: “Let’s do it.”
The End of Obesity is the show’s seventh special on the streamer. It was preceded by South Park: Post Covid, South Park: The Return of Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park: The Streaming Wars, South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2, South Park: Joining the Panderverse and South Park: Not Suitable for Children.
