Sophie Monk has only met her new boyfriend once

This time last year she was in the midst of finding love on The Bachelorette.

But seven months after her split from winner Stu Laundy, Sophie Monk has revealed she has a new boyfriend.

Describing her new man as “normal, down-to-earth and funny,” the 38-year-old spilled the tea on her new relationship on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.

The interesting thing is – she’s only met him once.

On a recent flight back from Europe, the Love Island host was sitting next to a handsome man on the plane in business class.

After a few champagnes with the unnamed man, who had no idea who she was, Sophie knew “it was on”.

Feeling confident, Sophie asked him on the flight if they could kiss, but only after they both gave their teeth a good brush first.

After her mile-high make-out session, Sophie revealed she is officially off the market.

However, the funny thing is she’s only met the guy once and he lives overseas.

“I’ll have to meet up with him one day,” Sophie said laughing.
