On Monday, Sonic announced its brand-new Flavorista Favorites lineup of customized drinks that are so extreme that they had to debut them at the X Games.

According to a press release shared with Food & Wine, the lineup comes with six new drinks, including sodas, slushes, and lemonades. The lineup is set to debut at X Games Ventura 2024 (which just so happens to be presented by Sonic) on June 28 and will be available through the Sonic App on July 1.

"As the trailblazers of drink customization, our new app-exclusive lineup, Flavorista Favorites, offers something special for every taste – whether it's sweet, tangy, creamy or citrusy," Mackenzie Gibson, the vice president of culinary and menu innovation at Sonic, shared in the statement. "We're unveiling these flavors at X Games Ventura Presented by Sonic this summer because the X Games embody the spirit of living free and escaping monotony, just as our drinks do for our fans."

The new drinks include the Classic Cruiser, which Sonic describes as "the timeless taste of cola combined with a sweet hint of cherry vanilla," along with the Twisted Flamingo, which is a "twist of lemon-lime, cherry vanilla, and sweet cream." There's also Paradise Sunset, a "bubbly drink with a citrusy burst of blood orange and real strawberries," a new Rainbow Slush made with "blue raspberry, real strawberries, and lemonade," and the Lemonade Cream Cooler, a "tangy lemonade slush blended with sweet, creamy soft serve." Last but not least is the Grape Escape, a "bubbly mix of grape and lime that creates the perfect flavor escape."

If you happen to be at the X Games event this weekend (June 27-30), you can head over and give them a try — and you can even get your hands on a Plus, limited-edition X Games x Sonic Skateboard before it goes live on Sonic's lifestyle portal that's filled with Sonic-centric merch. While you're there, you may even get the chance to meet 13-time Game medalist Tyler Bereman, who says his top pick is the new "Paradise Sunset," or X Games Skateboard Park medalist Bryce Wettstein, who shared that his go-to out of the new lineup is the "Lemonade Cream Cooler."

Best of all, when you order something from the new lineup, a portion of the proceeds goes toward supporting the Sonic Limeades for Learning initiative, which helps fund classrooms around the U.S. with the supplies they need. And if that's not reason enough to head to your nearest Sonic for a little icy treat we don't know what is.
