Yahoo Lifestyle Sofia Carson Favors Architectural Draping in Elie Saab Blush Gown for SAG Awards 2025 Red Carpet
Sofia Carson opted for a touch of drama at the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The actress and Disney starlet, who is one of the ceremony’s ambassadors this year, favored volume and a couture approach to her red carpet style sensibility for the night.
Carson wore a soft pink gown courtesy of Elie Saab’s spring 2025 couture collection. The dress featured architectural draping, with an asymmetrical neckline that featured draped fabric over one of Carson’s shoulders, while the other featured an off-the-shoulder style.

The silhouette of Carson’s gown included a fitted bodice with a cinched waist for added definition. The skirt of the dress trumpeted out, creating a train effect. Along with the pink gown, Carson wore Jimmy Choo platform shoes.
As for her accessories, Carson wore a statement choker necklace and a bold cocktail ring to add a sparkle to her red carpet ensemble. Her raven-black hair featured a side part and sleek style with a tight chignon. Her makeup included bold brows, a smokey eye and a pink lip.
Carson’s gown made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week last January. The collection followed the designer’s event, “The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab,” which was held in Saudi Arabia the previous November.
“It represented a new direction for Saab, who usually dwells in sequins and sparkle,” Rhonda Richford wrote in WWD’s review of the spring 2025 couture collection. “The designer was clear on the reason: ‘It’s about coolness,’ he said backstage after the show.”
The 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, held on Sunday at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles and hosted by Kristen Bell, honor the best performances in film and TV from 2024. “Shōgun” and “Wicked” lead the nominees with five nods each. Jane Fonda will receive the Life Achievement Award.
