‘SNL50’ Weekend Update: Bill Murray Roasts the Show’s White Anchors, Bobby Moynihan’s Drunk Uncle Yells ‘Not My Captain America’ Over Anthony Mackie

The “Weekend Update” segment at the “SNL” 50th anniversary special on Sunday brought back legendary cast member Bill Murray to rank the segment’s past hosts.

Murray started by ranking “Weekend Update’s” Black hosts, which put current co-host Michael Che at number one — by virtue of the fact there has only been one Black host in the show’s history.

Murray then went through a top 10 ranking of the “regular” hosts of “Weekend Update.” Murray immediately took himself out of the running for the ranking, due to the fact he was on performance enhacing drugs. “It’s what we called an ‘8H Shaker,'” Murray said. “Quaaludes, cocaine, and Nighttime TheraFlu.”
