Simihaze Beauty is the epitome of 'dopamine makeup' – here's why

Is Simihaze Beauty worth the hype? We found out Hearst Owned

You may recognise Simi and Haze Khadra from Instagram or for being Fai Khadra's younger twin sisters, but today, they're changing the narrative, pivoting into the UK beauty scene after having taken the American makeup market by storm.

In late 2022, the Saudi Arabia-born sisters – who now reside in the US – launched their one-year-old brand, SIMIHAZE Beauty into Selfridges and CultBeauty in the UK. Since then, their collection has only continued to expand with statement eye stickers, holographic lipsticks, dewy tints and more…

But what makes SIMIHAZE Beauty stand out? Well, other than being oh so aesthetically pleasing, their formulas are made up of non-comedogenic ingredients (aka, free from acne-causing nasties) and add moisture to the skin without feeling oily or heavy. If I were to liken it to some fan-favourite brands, I would say it's a hybrid between Glossier, Half Magic and about-face. Think: clean girl makeup with pops of colour and a sprinkle of glitter.

And how do I know this? Well, I got my hands on over £250 worth of SIMIHAZE Beauty products to trial and test over a number of weeks. Now, I bring you the tea of the very best and which I would recommend investing in... You're welcome.

Eye Play Angel Pack

Festival season hates to see SIMIHAZE coming because their crystal eye gems are the perfect field accessory. In other words, if you CBA to apply a full face after a 12-hour stint in mud and circa three hours of sleep, just whack a couple of these on and you're good to go!

Although spenny (I mean, parting with £38 for a one-time use makeup product does seem a lil steep), these eye packs are so worth it IMO. They apply in one strip so aren't at all fiddly and are surprisingly adhesive. My fave swear ain't got nothing on these gems.

Lightbeam liquid highlighter 10ml

After a long highlighter hiatus, this was the product that made me fall back in love with otherworldly makeup. Most days, I opt for a full matte beat base, but to add a little dimension to the high points of my cheeks, this is my go-to. Build up for a high shimmer, aura beauty-esque finish, or sheer out for a subtle glow.

The liquid formula lays evenly on the skin and doesn't disrupt the makeup beneath it, making it a staple in my everyday makeup bag.

Eclipse mini lip balm 1g

When I tell you I *audibly gasped* at first sight of this lip product… Understatement of the year – and we’re not even a month into 2025. Yep, you could say that I’m obsessed with all three shades of this lip balm, but my favourite has to be Saturn. Not only does the nourishing formula (hi rosehip oil) hydrate the lips, but the hyper-reflective pearls and the your -lips-but-better colour pay off deliver a 3D, light-reflective sparkle, too. (FYI: The sparkle is not at all chunky and is super comfortable to wear!)

It's giving your everyday look but with a bit of disco-va-va-voom because nothing says office chic makeup more than a lil glitz and glam.

Hydra Melt dewy skin balm

If a shimmer highlight isn't for you and you're more of a natural makeup girlie, we'd recommend investing in the Hydra Melt dewy skin balm.

Tap and blend the lightweight formula onto cheekbones, the cupid's bows, lips and eyes for a dewy – but not sweaty-looking – sheen.

Solar Tint blush duo 5g

As Simi and Haze personally told me (humble brag), the Solar Tint blush duo is the product of sisterly harmony. One sister is all for a creamy blush finish, while the other is all about a matte finish, making for the duo of dreams.

Personally, I like to use the two together – starting with the cream and topping with the matte – but you can use either or, depending on your desired look.

The payoff is of a sheer, natural flush but is super buildable.

Sun Wash bronzing powder 7g

Not glitter yet not totally matte, this bronzer is the perfect product for achieving a sun-kissed glow. Plus, the pan is biiiig, meaning it'll likely last for months if not years.

The shade range is, unfortunately, limited but we hope to see an expansion of tones soon.

Skin Suede Melting Bronze Balm 4.1g

Not a fan of powder bronzer? Fear not for SIMIHAZE has two bronzer formulas in their collection, this one being of a creamy, suede texture. This balm is best applied with a stippling brush and blends out with ease.

Lunar lip gel 2.6ml

If a lip gloss and lip oil had a baby, this is what would be conceived. SIMIHAZE's lip gel not only adds a lick of shine to the lips with a comfortable, hydrating and non-sticky formula but a light-reflective shimmer, too. 'Tis the year for dopamine beauty.
