Sideflank is the racy new fashion trend replacing the sideboob
If you thought the braless sideboob trend was the most revealing style to hit red carpets over the past few years there is a new racy look set to take the crown.
It’s called the sideflank and essentially involves seemingly non-existent - or actually non-existent - underwear.
From extreme side-slits in floor length gowns to strategically placed cut-outs, the revealing look has been seen everywhere from the red carpet to Instagram.
Kendall Jenner showed everyone how to work it with not much material covering her legs at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscars after party.
Rita Ora and Victoria’s Secret model Adrianna Lima also flashed plenty of leg at the same event.
JLo and Instagram star Tammy Hembrow have been at the forefront of the trend, showing off the look for the past year with more and more people catching on.
Of course naked dresses have been dominating recent red carpet trends and while they give people much more of a glimpse at what is underneath the dress, they mostly still involve some form of underwear.
We’re definitely not sure what - if anything - JLo has on under that stunning green gown!
But if you’re not at all put off by the prospect of going knicker-less, then we’ve found some great options online if you want to try the trend for yourself. And thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales happening right now there are plenty of things on sale.
