Sia has confirmed that she adopted two 18-year-old sons last year.
In an interview with with SiriusXM, the Aussie singer, who is known to be notoriously private about her personal life, revealed that she took the boys under her wing because they were "ageing out of the foster care system" and had nowhere to go.
"I did. I actually adopted two sons last year. They were both 18 - they're both 19 years old now. They were ageing out of the foster care system. Yeah, and I love them,” she said.
The 44-year-old, who is known to cover her face with a blonde oversized wig when she performs, said her sons are finding lockdown difficult.
"They are both finding it pretty difficult, one moreso than the other. But they're both doing things that are really good for them right now, that are really helpful. They're really doing a lot of educational stuff that's good for them."
The Adelaide-born star mentioned adopting her first child in January this year during an interview with GQ magazine, where she spoke about texting Diplo about "no-strings sex".
"Much of our relationship is just being spent trying not to have sex so that we wouldn't ruin our business relationship because he's super-duper hot, “ she told GQ.
"This year I wrote him a text, and I said, 'Hey, listen, you're like one of five people that I'm sexually attracted to, and now that I've decided to be single for the rest of my life and I just adopted a son, I don't have time for a relationship.
"'If you're interested in some no-strings sex, then hit me up.' "
Sia also took to her Twitter this time last year to say that she was trying to foster Dasani, Dasani, a 16-year-old who was featured in HBO documentary Foster.
“Hey Dasani from "FOSTER" on @HBO! I'd like to adopt you we're just trying to find you and get my house check done etc,” she tweeted.
“But I want you to know you will have a home with me.”
