Fans outraged after Shayna Blaze tears up on The Block
Viewers of The Block have been left in shock after judge Shayna Blaze was brought to tears by Andy and Deb’s room reveal on last night’s episode of the reality show, only to turn around and score them below the top mark.
Shayna was left speechless when she walked into the beautifully decorated super-sized bedroom in Melbourne, which was speckled with modern furniture and muted tones.
However, when push came to shove, the 56-year-old awarded Andy and Deb nine points of a possible 10, something which didn’t go unnoticed by fans of the Channel Nine reality show.
“Wow!!! So perfect isn't 10. Wow what a load of BS - again,” one person wrote.
“#TheBlockAU brings her to tears and she gives them a 9,” another person said.

It’s understandable that viewers were a little bit confused about Shayna’s score, especially considering she was left speechless when she walked into the space.
“I can’t talk. This is stunning. It’s just so gentle,” she said, looking visibly moved.
When Darren pointed out that there were two emotional judges in the room, Shyana and Neale Whitaker, Shayna started to tear up even more, waving her hands in front of her face and saying: “I just think, you know when a house is built with love and I think that’s what I’m connecting with at the moment, there’s something very healing about this interior.”

#TheBlockAU rig the scores to make them close complain about a room yet give it the top score compared to one you cried over and the rest just stupid

However, the couple only received a grand total of 28 points out of 30, meaning they lost out to Jesse and Mel and eventual winners, Tess and Luke.
If Tess and Luke didn’t win the room last night, their budget restraints would have meant that they wouldn’t have been able to finish their house at all.
