We know weddings can get expensive, but one bride’s unbelievable way to save some money is completely out of line.

A hobby gardener has revealed the moment she found out her beautiful garden was ransacked, and the reason will have you seeing red.

The woman took to a wedding shaming group on Facebook to call out the bride that “stole flowers out of my garden for her wedding”.

Explaining that she loves to garden, the woman revealed she had everything from roses, lilies, daisies, hydrangeas, peonies, tulips and daffodils on her property.

“A couple of years ago, I walked out into my yard on a Friday morning to find EVERY....SINGLE....ROSE in my garden cut and my potted impatiens and petunias gone, pots and all,” she wrote.

“Naturally, I was devastated. My roses were butchered. Including my extremely rare Amelia Earhart hybrid tea that took me three years to track down. I filed a police report but there was little they could do. All I could do was prune them back and try to coax them into blooming again.”

Left wondering what had happened to her plants, the woman was completely shocked and furious when she found out who had taken them a few weeks later.

“A lady I know from a few streets over called me,” she explained. “Apparently her neighbour had gotten married the weekend my garden was looted.

“The photos were posted on social media. The tip off was the petunias and impatiens in my very distinctive, white-painted flower pots being used as centrepieces.

“But then the photos of the bridal party.... a bride and two bridesmaid carrying bouquets of pink, white, and yellow fully bloomed hybrid tea roses... including the pale yellow Amelia Earhart roses.”

The woman found out the bride apparently passed her house and saw the garden, before returning in the cover of darkness a couple of days before the wedding to take the roses and flower pots.

“What made it worse... she was never charged with theft. Just trespassing. She got a $50 fine. A FINE. That rose cost $300 and had to be shipped from across the country. She butchered the plant so badly, it STILL hasn’t fully recovered.”

And all she got from the woman was a ‘it’s just flowers’.

“If she had just knocked on my door and asked, I would have gone out and cut her all the flowers she needed and offered to loan her my flower pots and charged her far less than what a florist would have charged,” she said.

People were understandably outraged at the completely brazen act, with some even asking the woman to name and shame.

“I feel like I might have (would have) slapped the s*** out of her,” one person put it bluntly.

“What an a**hole bride. I hope karma hits her,” another wrote.

“From a fellow gardener. I am LIVID. I hope her marriage is a constant misery from which she never escapes,” was another person’s response.
