The Sexiest Man Alive 2024 Readers' Choice Poll Results Are In: See Who Won Your Vote!

Nearly 350,000 votes were cast in the most fiercely contested Sexiest Man Alive readers' choice poll yet — and now we're ready to reveal the results

Is it hot in here, or is it just that we're mere days away from our annual Sexiest Man Alive reveal on Nov. 12? While the world holds its breath to find out which guy gets top honors, we're revealing the results of our hotly-contested readers' choice poll as we start to ramp up into reveal week.

Nearly 350,000 votes were cast in the poll this year, which included some very dedicated campaigning on the parts of nominees including Role Model, Jimmy Fallon and Mark Consuelos. Shirts were made, attack ads were run, people's grandmas got involved, celeb guys nominated themselves as write-in candidates and former Sexiest Men Alive weighed in on their picks. Swag was sent to nominees, and we got some very silly moments with the recipients. And of course, many, many stars had something to say about their candidacy for the main win.

In September, we put forward 15 categories, from "Sexiest Musician" to "Sexiest Supportive Partner in Sports," for readers to make their voices heard. And readers make their voices heard in many more ways, weighing in on social media and in the comments to let us know who we forgot — as well as rallying their fellow fans to vote for who they thought should win.

Sexiest Handy Man: Chip Gaines

He could mend a broken heart — and anything else that could use fixing! HGTV star Chip Gaines' building skill (and sweet relationship with wife Joanna) meant he was sure to nail a win in this category, which included Property Brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott, Ty Pennington and Jonathan Knight.

Sexiest Long-Married Star: Tim McGraw

All the guys in this category (including Denzel Washington, Kevin Bacon and Ted Danson) have been happily wed for 25 years or more, but it’s the beautiful music that Tim McGraw makes with wife Faith Hill that had readers voting him to the top spot.

Gen SeXiest

When it comes to voting for the ultimate ‘90s hottie, the readers just wanted Moore — Shemar Moore, that is! The S.W.A.T. star and new dad has had fans sweating since his debut on Living Single. Runners-up included Benjamin Bratt, Matt Dillon and Ethan Hawke.

Sexiest Summer Action Star

Don't get it twisted: Glen Powell may have had one sexy role after another this year (between Anyone But You, Hit Man and Twisters) but we still would share a bucket of popcorn with runners-up Ryan Gosling (Fall Guy) and Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool & Wolverine) any day.

Sexiest Fiyero

All of these guys are Wicked-ly handsome, but it's Jonathan Bailey's Fiyero in the upcoming movie adaptation that had your hearts defying gravity. (We'd still happily go "Dancing Through Life" with Taye Diggs, Joey McIntyre or Aaron Tveit, though.)

Tuesday, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos discussed Consuelos' nailbiter victory in the Sexiest Talk Show Host category, and so much more. After admiring his prizes (including a T-shirt that read "I won Sexiest TV Host and all I got was this T-shirt"), Consuelos said, "I'd like to thank all the other nominees, especially Jimmy Fallon ... I'm sure it was very close. I voted for him multiple times, but America has spoken."

Sexiest Talk Show Host: Mark Consuelos

Competition between Live with Kelly & Mark host Mark Consuelos and Jimmy Fallon got ugly — attack ads and all! — but ultimately, Consuelos couldn’t be defeated when it comes to smoldering while making small talk.

Sexiest Dog Dad: Max Greenfield

Call it puppy love! New Girl star Max Greenfield's adorable rescue dog Darlene helped him lick the competition, which included sexy guys Simu Liu, Justin Theroux and Dave Bautista and their cuddly canine companions.

Makes BRAT Look Sexiest: Joe Jonas

The exact definition of “Brat” was hard to pin down, but Joe Jonas’ sassy social media presence, cheeky attitude and take on Charli XCX’s “Apple” dance earned him the most votes.

Sexiest Tattoos: Jeremy Allen White

Between his shirtless L.A. workouts and steamy Calvin Klein campaign, The Bear star Jeremy Allen White gave fans plenty of opportunities to ogle the ink — and propel him to victory.

Sexiest New Heartthrob: Jacob Elordi

Oh, Elordi! Saltburn and Euphoria star’ Jacob Elordi's soulful energy and tall, dark and handsome good looks were practically made for those fold-out posters you could get in Teen People.

Harry Styles already knows victory tastes sweet (after all, he’s won in this category multiple times before) but this year it was even more delicious after a hard-fought TikTok campaign from Role Model (it's obvious which one he is, because he's iconic) and very sexy, successful years from Zach Bryan and Shaboozey.

On Instagram, Role Model thanked his fans for tirelessly voting for him and informed PEOPLE, "You had an opportunity to really do something for the culture and create a beautiful ending to an underdog story. And you didn't."

Sexiest First-Time Dad: Robert Pattinson

Diaper duty looks good on Twilight star Robert Pattinson, who welcomed a daughter with fiancée Suki Waterhouse in March. "[Having a baby] makes you feel very old and very young," he joked. Fellow first-time dads Justin Bieber, Maluma and Cole Tucker similarly are making sleepless nights look sexy.

Sexiest Podcast Host: The Kelce Brothers

Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce bring twice the fun to the podcast space on New Heights, whether they’re teasing each other, sharing sports insights or talking about Travis’ superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift. Other stars making your hearts race at 1.5x speed included Penn Badgley (Podcrushed), Josh Peck (Good Guys) and T.J. Holmes (Amy & T.J.).

Sexiest Supportive Partner in Sports: Hunter Woodhall

All of these athletes are devoted “wife guys” to their A-list loves (that's Andre Levrone Jr. to Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Jonathan Owens to Simone Biles and Christian McCaffrey to Olivia Culpo), but Hunter Woodall's heart-melting kiss after wife Tara Davis-Woodhall's Olympic gold medal win this summer helped the track stars outrun the competition.

Sexiest TikTok Star: Mark Estes

They’ve since broken up, but Kristin Cavallari sharing that she and Montana Boyz Mark Estes influencer had “really hot sex” may have secured his win. Okay, the shirtless gym videos may have helped too. But he had serious competition (and plenty of fun social campaigning) from his fellow nominees Noah Beck, Bru on the Radio and Connor Wood.
