Seth Meyers Hurls Bold Accusation at Andy Samberg
As former Saturday Night Live costars, Seth Meyers and Andy Samberg have been friends for years—but there's one thing the old buddies apparently can't agree on.
In a video shared to TikTok on Tuesday, Feb. 25, Meyers answered a question from a member of his studio audience about Samberg's longstanding beef with Meyers' dog, Frisbee.
"Is there anything you hate as much as Andy Samberg hates Frisbee?" the Late Night With Seth Meyers viewer asked.
"No!" Meyers answered. "So Andy Samberg hates my dog Frisbee so much, and uh, I don't think I'm capable of hating anything as much as he."
"We have talked about this recently," Meyers continued. "He really hates my dog, and he's hated my dog since she was little, and now she's 14 years old."
As proof of Samberg's distaste for Frisbee, Meyers shared a hilariously dark holiday anecdote.
"I was saying recently...well, here's a true thing he did. I sent our Christmas card, Frisbee's in it every year. He scratched out her face like a serial killer and mailed it back," Meyers recalled.

"I said the other day, 'I think when Frisbee dies,' I said to my wife, 'I think when Frisbee dies, we should send Andy the bones,'" the late night host joked, adding, "And she's like, 'How do you think? Just FYI...how do you think you get the bones?'"
"Like you bring it to the vet to put it down and you're like, 'And then, uh yeah, if we could just get the bones,'" Meyers quipped.
Commenters couldn't get over Samberg's rivalry with the pup.
"Having beef with a dog is hilarious," one person wrote.
"It's like Elmo and Rocky," another person pointed out.
"Andy samberg has exactly one flaw," declared someone else.
During a 2014 episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Samberg explained the origins of his rivalry with Frisbee.
“You met my dog when she was basically a two-month-old puppy and you basically said ‘No, Thank you.’” Meyers said to his friend.
“Yeah. Well. Frisbee is a dog, who to me, looks kinda rat-like. And I lived in New York a long time and I don’t get down on rats,” Samberg replied.
“I believe you told my wife that you had seen rocks that were cuter than Frisbee," Meyers shot back.
“This is so awful,” Samberg laughed. “To my credit, when I said that to her, I never thought you’d be saying that I said it on national television.”
