Serena Williams Dances for Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show 2025 in Tenniscore Outfit
Serena Williams was a surprise guest at Kendrick Lamar’s Apple Music’s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show on Sunday. Wearing a tenniscore-inspired outfit, the former professional tennis player danced to Lamar’s “Not Like Us” in the middle of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Williams’ outfit embraced the patriotic theme of Lamar’s performance, which featured dancers in red, blue and white outfits. The former athlete and founder of Wyn Beauty wore a white crop top with a bright royal blue pleated skirt and a matching jacket. She coordinated the look with blue sneakers.

Before dancing to Lamar’s Grammy-winning song at the Super Bowl, Williams attended the Fanatics Super Bowl Party on Saturday, wearing a pinstriped Alexander McQueen minidress and matching blazer. She posed with Shaquille O’Neal, Teyana Taylor, Winnie Harlow, Gabrielle Union and more at the event.
Lamar was also joined by special guest Sza, who performed “All the Stars” and “Luther,” and Samuel L. Jackson, who served as a host for his performance playing the character Uncle Sam.
At a press conference held on Thursday in New Orleans, Lamar discussed the chance of performing at the Super Bowl as headliner. He had previously co-headlined the Super Bowl halftime show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Mary J. Blige in 2022.
“For me, [performing at the Super Bowl] means everything because it puts the culture in the forefront where it needs to be and not minimized to just a catchy song or verse,” he said.
The Super Bowl LIX, the NFL’s championship game for the 2024 season, takes place on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. This marks the 11th time New Orleans has hosted the Super Bowl, tying with Miami for the most by any city.
