Selfridges Showers ‘Rush’ Singer and Rabanne Ambassador Troye Sivan in Confetti at Christmas Spectacle
SELFRIDGES SHOWER: Troye Sivan, who has turned his “Something to Give Each Other” tour into a fashion show by donning bold looks from Seán McGirr’s McQueen, Craig Green and Av Vattev, popped into Selfridges’ Oxford street flagship this week for a Christmas confetti spectacle.
The “Rush” singer, who was wearing a sparkly gold sequin shirt under a black leather jacket with red collar detail, was joined by a cohort of well-dressed guests enjoying afternoon high tea at the Dolly’s Café on the lower ground floor.

Following a jolly music performance, the Australian star inaugurated the confetti cannon with Santa.
A major attraction during the holiday season, the Selfridges Christmas Spectacle will run until Dec. 22. It will take place at 6 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. as part of the store’s holiday celebrations.
At this week’s opening event, the pop star was joined by British presenter Sophie Habboo for a talk about his role at Rabanne Beauty. It was followed by a meet-and-greet with fans.
Sivan told WWD earlier that he is no stranger to Rabanne.
“My first interaction was wearing the fashion and always just really loving it and feeling very playful and excited about the clothes. Then I incorporated them into some special moments for me and music videos,” he said.
For his tour, Sivan wore a metallic chain mail jumpsuit and a matching bandanna around his neck. Rabanne creative director Julien Dossena and the brand’s studio designed two custom outfits for the tour.
