Selena Gomez’s “Only Murders in the Building” Costars Martin Short and Steve Martin Show Off Their 'Bluest Flame' Strut

Martin Short and Steve Martin are “Bluest Flame”’s biggest fans!

On Thursday, April 10, Selena Gomez shared a TikTok video of her two Only Murders in the Building costars, 75 and 79, respectively, doing their best struts to her single while on set for the Hulu series.

“Bluest Flame walk feat. Steve & Marty,” the 32-year-old actress captioned the sped-up clip.

In the video, both men begin inside of a building while on location in New York City. Crew members can be seen working in the background as Short and Martin exit and walk outside, making sure to strike poses along the way.

Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco previewed the song together on March 19, when they surprised fans at a screening of Spring Breakers together.

“marty and steve are SO ready for SELENA SUMMER!!!” one person commented on the TikTok.

Others expressed their happiness for the return of the murder mystery series with a comedic spin.

“ONLY ICONS IN THE BUILDING,” a fan said. Another added, “The three Besties are back😏.”

Gomez, Martin and Short are currently filming for season 5 of the hit television show.

After winning the outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series category at the 2025 SAG Awards on Feb. 23, OMITB shared exciting news via social media the following month.

On March 26, the show's official Instagram and X accounts confirmed that Renée Zellweger would be joining the cast.

While Zellweger, 55, will reportedly have a "recurring guest star role" on the show, executive producer Dan Fogelman previously teased in a January 2025 conversation with TheWrap that season 5 would feature "another big fun mystery the writers have been cooking up."

“The ability for the writers to take those three guys who are so comfortable in the skin of those roles now, and where the comedy sits in the show, where the dramedy sits in the show, it’s just so always so fun to start a new story with them and explore new aspects of their friendship and new aspects of their lives," Fogelman said.

Past celebrities who have shared the OMITB screen with Mabel Mora (Gomez), Charles Haden-Savage (Martin) and Oliver Putnam (Short) include Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep) and Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch).

Paul Rudd officially joined the cast as Ben Glenroy in season 3.

Fans can be rest assured that familiar faces like Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Jackie Hoffman will reportedly be back for the upcoming season as well.

A release date for season 5 has not been announced, but the first four seasons of Only Murders in the Building are currently available to stream on Hulu.
