Selena Gomez has put her relationship with fiancé Benny Blanco in the spotlight ahead of the March 21 release of their upcoming album I Said I Love You First. When the music producer turned 37 on March 8, she celebrated with him that evening at a prom-themed birthday party.
Gomez’s former assistant Theresa Mingus shared photos of Gomez posing with her and dancer Anna Collins. The singer stood out in a strapless pink Oscar de la Renta ball gown with a high-low skirt. The dress costs $10,990, Page Six pointed out.

Gomez and Blanco then revealed they went back to the place where they had their first date, Jitlada, a Thai restaurant on Sunset Boulevard, and made shrimp tempura in the kitchen. They shared footage of themselves cooking:
A day later, they revealed that their next single, “Sunset Blvd,” would be coming out on March 14. “Our first date was on Sunset Blvd, and it’s also the title of our next song together 🖤 Sunset Blvd out March 14 with @itsbennyblanco,” Gomez wrote. “P.S. this is our first official photo together.”
Blanco commented, “ur my cherry pie.”

Gomez marked Blanco’s birthday with a dedicated Instagram tribute on Saturday, too. “I’m not sure what I did to deserve you but damn am I glad you were born.. happy birthday baby ♥️” she wrote.
Blanco expressed similar feelings of gratitude for Gomez in their conversation with Interview magazine. He told the outlet, “I remember before I was with her, I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to stop everything I’m doing and just focus all my energy on being a grownup and being with the right person.’ Now I worship the ground she walks on and I feel like she’s the same way to me. There’s no ego between us. She’s praying for me to win and I’m praying for her to win. And I wake up in the morning—I know she does the same thing—and I’m like, ‘How can I make her life better?’ Holding her isn’t close enough. I want to be inside of her whole body. I just feel a thing for her that I can’t even explain.”
